Margret Langenau leaves the executive board of Ernsting’s family

Coesfeld, June 2026
After eight successful years as Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) at Ernsting’s family, Margret Langenau will be stepping down from her professional career on 30 June 2026 and looks forward to devoting more time to her family in the next phase of her life. Since 2018, Margret Langenau has played a key role as a managing director in shaping the company. Under her leadership, the procurement and sustainability structures have been consistently developed and achieved an outstanding level of performance. Margret Langenau has thus made a large contribution to the successful positioning and further development of Ernsting’s family.

Professor Timm Homann, CEO of the Ernsting’s family group, emphasises the significance of the work of Margret Langenau: ‘With her many years of experience, her strategic vision and her personal integrity, Margret Langenau has demonstrated a particular ability to navigate the various crises and procurement challenges. She has inspired people, built trust and will always remain an important part of our “family”. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Margret Langenau for her exceptional dedication, her far-sightedness and the lasting impact she has had on our company. We wish her all the best for the next chapter of her life.’
